Arsenal v West Ham Betting Preview

In the upcoming clash between Arsenal and West Ham United, the Gunners are looking strong, especially at the Emirates Stadium. This season, they’ve scored in six of their nine home Premier League matches and have an impressive run of seven wins in nine games, including victories in their last five.

West Ham, while not as consistent, have shown they can find the net away from home, scoring in eight out of nine away games. However, they’ve lost four of their last six matches. Mohammed Kudus has been a standout performer for West Ham, scoring four goals in his last five league appearances.

Arsenal have been performing well, maintaining their position at the top of the table with a solid draw against Liverpool at Anfield. West Ham recently secured a significant win against Manchester United, boosting them into the top six. Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal had a narrow escape with some penalty claims in their match against Liverpool, while West Ham’s Declan Rice played a pivotal role in neutralising Liverpool’s attacks.

Looking back at their first encounter this season in the Carabao Cup, West Ham came out on top with a 3-1 victory. However, this upcoming match could have a different outcome, especially with Declan Rice starting for West Ham.

Arsenal have a tendency to score first in their home games, which they have done in seven out of nine matches, converting most of these into wins. West Ham, in contrast, have struggled to score in the first half in their recent away games.

Although Arsenal has a solid defense, they have only kept clean sheets in a third of their home games. West Ham, capable of scoring on the road, pose a threat with players like Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus in good scoring form.

Arsenal, however, are not lacking in attacking strength and are determined to stay at the top of the league. With their consistent goal-scoring record at home and West Ham’s tendency to score but not overly so on their visits to North London, Arsenal looks set to possibly secure a 3-1 victory, a scoreline they’ve achieved against teams like Manchester United and Burnley this season.
