Match Date: 02-July-19
Kick-Off Time: 20:00 GMT
Despite being without a win, Tunisia are still favourites to win this one to earn qualification into the knockout stage.
Mauritania surprisingly held Angola to a draw in their last game, but it will be an enormous task preventing Tunisia from scoring.
After their humiliating 4-1 defeat to Mali in the opening game, Mauritania manager Corentin Martins dropped the 4-1-2-1-2 formation and went for a 4-2-3-1 against Angola.
The new formation appeared to be effective as they neutralised the attack of the Angolans. Martins is likely to continue it against Tunisia.
Tunisia head into the match without a trusted goalkeeper. First choice Ben Mustapha was dropped for the second game after his error against Angola.
However, his replacement, Mouez Hassen also fumbled a corner into his own net as Tunisia drew 1-1 with Mali.
It remains uncertain who Alain Giresse will select for this match, but third-choice Moez Ben Cherifia will be confident of starting.
Aside from that, Alain Giresse will be forced to make changes in the middle with midfielder Ghilane Chaalali suspended.
But he could revert to three-man attack with Wahbi Khazri, Naim Sliti and Youssef Msakni.
